Bon Jovi

O Bon Jovi foi fundado em 1983 na cidade de Sayreville, em New Jersey. O Bon Jovi é uma das mais importantes bandas de Glam Metal e Hard Rock da cena. Com fãs no mundo, todo ajudou a difundir o estilo entre as mulheres, com suas musicas falando de amor e de relacionamentos. Até hoje, a banda ainda conquista fãs no mundo todo.
Durante um show de abertura para a banda Scandal, o grupo chamou a atenção do executivo de gravadora Derek Shulman, que os assinou com a PolyGram, dando embalo à carreira de uma banda promissora.
O álbum de estreia, "Bon Jovi", foi lançado em 21 de janeiro de 1984. Chegou a ser disco de ouro nos Estados Unidos, com mais de 500.000 cópias vendidas. O ligeiro sucesso do primeiro álbum animou os produtores para um segundo e em 1985 é lançado "7800° Fahrenheit".
"Slippery When Wet", lançado em 1986, levou a banda ao status de "astros mundiais", com sucessos como "You Give Love A Bad Name", "Living On A Prayer", "Wanted Dead or Alive" e "Never Say Goodbye".
"New Jersey" foi lançado em 1988, gravado após o fim da turnê do "Slippery When Wet", com o intuito de provar que a banda não era apenas um sucesso temporário. O resultado é um dos álbuns favoritos dos fãs com sucessos como "Bad Medicine", "Lay Your Hands On Me", "Born To Be My Baby" e "I'll Be There For You", que permanecem nos repertórios até hoje.
Em 1992 a banda grava "Keep The Faith", contendo letras mais políticas do que românticas. O álbum traz uma mensagem de crítica da sociedade. Dois anos depois, é lançada a coletânea "Cross Road", uma das mais vendidas e populares do mundo e que continha duas músicas inéditas, "Always", que originalmente foi feita para a trilha sonora do filme "O Sangue de Romeo", e "Someday I'll Be SaturdayNight".
Em 1995 é lançado "These Days", marcado por um clima soturno, ainda mais socialmente crítico do que "Keep The Faith" e por letras visivelmente mais complicadas e maduras. Em 2000, depois de cinco anos sem lançar um álbum, a banda se reúne e lança "Crush", que traz como música de abertura "It's My Life", considerado um dos maiores hits da história do grupo.
Em 2001, atendendo aos pedidos dos fãs que pediam por um álbum ao vivo, a banda lança "One Wild Night Live 1985-2001" contendo uma coleção de sucessos em algumas de suas melhores apresentaçoes ao longo dos anos. No ano seguite a banda lança o disco "Bounce", inspirado, em parte, nos atentados de 11 de setembro. Contendo os hits "Everyday" e "Misunderstood", o álbum se caracterizou por ter timbres mais modernos e por ser mais pesado.
Em 2003 é lançado "This Left Fells Right", uma coleção de regravações de seus grandes sucessos em versões diferentes das originais. No final de 2004, chega ao mercado a boxed set "100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can't Be Wrong", comemoranodo os 20 anos de estrada da banda e a marca de 100 milhões de de álbuns vendidos em todo o mundo.
Em setembro de 2005 foi lançado o álbum "Have A Nice Day". A turnê teve início em novembro em Chicado e o 1° single para promoção foi a faixa-título do álbum. A faixa "Who Says You Can't Go Home" foi lançada em um dueto com Jennifer Nettles da banda estadunidense de country Sugarlad.
Em 2007 a banda lança "Lost Highway" um álbum voltado para o Country. Em novembro de 2009 é lançado um álbum crítico, o "The Circle", considerado pra lá de péssimo, e, disparado, o pior álbum da banda.
