Bruce Dickinson

Paul Bruce Dickinson nasceu em 7 de agosto de 1958 em Nottinghamshire, na Inglaterra. O estopim para a entrada do vocalista no mundo da música foi o disco In Rock do Deep Purple.
As primeiras bandas de Bruce foram: Xerox, Shots, Speed e Styx. Em seguida Bruce foi para o Samson, banda que o projetou como vocalista e na qual gravou dois álbuns: Head On (1980) e Shock Tactics (1981). Com a saída de Paul Di'anno do Iron Maiden, veio o convite à Bruce, que de pronto o aceitou, indo imediatamente para o estrelato com o Maiden em The Number of The Beast em 1982.
Seu primeiro trabalho solo surgiu em 1990 e contou com Janick Gers (guitarra), Andy Car (baixo) e Fabio Del Rio (bateria). Bruce Dickinson foi lançado antes de No Prayer For The Dying (álbum do Iron Maiden) e mostrou um Bruce tentando resgatar o Rock dos anos 70, o que acabou surpreendendo muitos fãs, que esperavam um trabalho mais semelhante ao que o músico fazia no Iron Maiden.
Seu segundo trabalho solo veio em 1994, Balls To Picasso era o marco inicial em uma nova fase para Bruce, que havia deixado o Iron Maiden. Neste álbum a formação da banda foi: Roy Z (guitarra), Eddie Casillas (baixo) e Dave Ingraham (bateria). Em seguida vem o ao vivo Alive In Studio A (1995), e no mesmo ano a primeira visita de Bruce com sua banda solo ao Brasil.
Em 1996, Bruce ao lado de Alex Dickson (guitarra), Chris Dale (baixo) e Alessando Elena (bateria), grava Skunkworks, com certeza o álbum mais fraco de Bruce em sua carreira solo.
Para tentar recupar a qualidade dos primeiros lançamentos, Bruce disssolve a banda e ao lado de Adrian Smith lança Accident Of Birth em 1997. Talvez até pela influência de Adrian, este é o disco solo de Bruce, que mais se aproxima da sonoridade do Iron Maiden.
O ano de 1998, marca o último disco de Bruce em sua carreira solo, antes do seu retorno ao Iron Maiden. The Chemical Weddings, supera as espectativas mantendo a linha apresentada em Accident Of Birth.
Em 1999, Bruce retorna ao Iron Maiden, deixando sua carreira solo em segundo plano. Somente em 2005, o vocalista lança um novo disco: Tyranny Of Souls, que até o momento é o último de Bruce solo.
